 With the word of God as our foundation, the people of Saint Matthew Catholic Parish, strive to be the presence of God in our community.  We do so through joyful worship, fellowship with our members, a welcoming spirit to visitors and seekers, an increasing willingness to give of our time, talent and treasure to serve God's people and a desire to spread our faith through ongoing spiritual growth.

Reason to Come Back to the Church

People want to have meaning in life. In the busyness of today’s world, many people realize that their lives have lost a sense of meaning or purpose. They may ask themselves “what is life all about?” Why do I do the things I do?” There is also widespread confusion in our society in areas of morality and truth. The Catholic Church offers hope which gives meaning to our existence. This leads to eternal life.
Childhood memories can surface as well. Many people will tell you that childhood memories of being connected to God pop up in later life. They start to ask themselves if it is possible to recapture the simplicity of faith they once had. They may ask if God is really watching me. The secularization of society leads people away from their spiritual side. The Catholic Church offers both mystical and religious experiences. These experiences feed the mind, heart, body, and soul.
